Death Metal 死亡金屬 樂風以「鞭擊金屬」為其背景演化而成（受到鞭擊金屬四龍頭裡面最凶狠的樂團Slayer影響）。電吉他快速的反復，幾無旋律的和絃，速擊狂踩的雙大鼓，主唱咬牙不清的低吟狂吼（死腔），歌詞以死亡仇恨為主題，充滿了屍體、內臟、肢解、分屍、姦屍、戀屍癖、食屍、虐待等變態字眼。「死亡金屬」以來自佛羅里達州的重金屬樂隊最具代表性。
