【冥桃都】

椎名林檎是我個人最喜愛的歌手，
因為她的作品眾多，
所以今天我特別選出了「浴室」這首充滿趣味的曲子來介紹與分析，
至於她的身世與其他作品都能輕鬆在Wiki找到，
我就不特別多說了。

以下為浴室的純音樂版本與特製的PV版本，
以及英語版本"La Salle de Bain"，
很有趣的是，只有英語版本才有MV，最早的日文版本並沒有製作MV。

這是首意境很好理解的半敘述曲，
就是一名與男友殉情、
割腕後泡在浴缸中的女性的低語。

這首歌極俱故事性，但卻用了相當文學性的手法描寫，
不同於平鋪直述的敘事歌，
這使得這首歌值得細細品味。

我們先來分析一下這首歌的歌詞，
歌曲的開頭使用了「新宿」的「相館」為展開，
原因為浴室此一曲最早是被收錄於「勝訴的新宿舞孃」此一專輯中，
使用新宿此一地位符號，
是因為新宿有著「歌舞伎町」此一紅燈區。
運用這種地區聯想，能夠迅速的將複雜的男女關係用兩個字就帶出，
而不需要運用繁雜的文字表現，還可增加想像空間。
相館的意義則必須配合「石膏」一曲方可瞭解其典故，
椎名林檎將「照相」視為一種消極封存過去美好的手段，
反而會貶低當下的存在價值，有著一種時間的觀念在其中，
透過回憶封存的符號傳達出女性抑鬱的心情。
接著運用物件組合與錯綜修詞法，
把茶館中嘈雜的氣味與場景輕鬆的呈現了出來。

而後的歌詞則是單純用隱諱的手法形容割腕與浸水的場景，
運用不連續的語詞，讓聽者產生銳利的印象。
其中特別需要提出的歌詞是"不在家的守衛部隊，好好地看著我直到我完全乾涸"，
以守衛部隊(白血球)不在體內(體外)來描寫血液流出。

關於"殉情"這一點其實很有爭議性，
歌詞中大量地使用了"你"產生兩人對視的感覺，
以及關鍵性歌詞"你不是說了嗎？「殺了我」"，
綜合以上兩點應該是殉情的場景，
但也有可能只是一種腦內的想法，所以也有人解讀為單純的一人自殺。
且在之後英文版的MV釋出後，
腦內幻想的可能性又變得更高了些。

曲子最終的瞬間斷句與超常的餘韻，堪稱傑作，
將死亡的瞬間和一切靜止的浴室這強烈的印象馬上印入聽者腦中。

根據椎名林檎自己表示，
這首歌是想要表達人們想要超越生和死的慾望。
透過第一段歌詞相館的出現，
想要抹殺時間的概念其實早已蘊含其中，
雖然整體還是透過"死亡"為主來傳達出超脫的意念。

接著我們來看看斎藤ネコ所製作的PV，
這個PV特別強調"在水中"的概念，
是個相當實驗性的作品，
其中也有不少文字設計的活用。

英文版的MV則是帶著點迷幻色彩的作品，
其中最值一提的是運用了大量肺泡與細胞的形象，
產生了與歌詞的呼應。
