Speech Preparing

I'm about to have an informative speech in my class.
The audience are college students.
Time limit: 3 minutes
I want to introduce what furry fandom (hereafter known as “furfan”) are and what most furfan do to show the common activities of the furfan groups.
In the last conclusion, I’ll provide a useful website link for further reading on Internet.

I omit all negative critique and mainly focus on the artwork aspect…so I can finish it in 3 minutes.

? There are small groups of people which have great interests in anthropomorphic animals or therianthropy. They gather on Internet and call themselves “furry fandom”
? Furry fandom (hereafter known as “furfan”) may have conventions to congregate to share their ideas or present their furfan-related works.

? Furfan usually have a crush on animals, but even more on imaginary characters which are human-animal blends.
- “Anthropomorphic” means “with human-like traits” such as talking in languages of human beings, two-legs walking, or grabbing things with their digits.
- Therianthropy means creatures with their body part-beast and part-human.
- Furfan do not only focus on what actually have furs but other anthropomorphic animals and even some special types as dragons or chimera.
? Many furfan make their works related to animals, anthropomorphic animals or to the extreme “human in animal suits”.
- Painting is the major activities what almost every furfan may do.
- On Internet, lots of websites about furfan are artwork discussing.
? The greatly organized events of furfan are conventions. The conventions are where members of furfan can interact to each other in a central location out of the Internet.

III. Conclusion
Furfan are groups that people get together with similar interests to a peculiar genre of art. On the basis of the care for animals, some group members may even take a part in animal-protection groups.

Hello everyone. Today my topic is “Furry Fandom”. And I think that you must have seem many funny animal characters on TV, such as Snoopy, Tom & Jerry, Mickey Mouse, or so the forth.
What’s the common feature they all share? They are somewhere resemble to human. They are “anthropomorphic”.

And there are small groups of people which have great interests in anthropomorphic animals or therianthropy. They gather on Internet and call themselves “furry fandom” (or “furfan” for short)

Furfan usually have a crush on animals, but even more on imaginary characters which are human-animal blends.
To begin with, the definition of “anthropomorphic” is “with human-like traits” such as talking in languages of human beings, two-legs walking, or grabbing things with their digits.
On the other hand, therianthropy means creatures with their body part-beast and part-human.

There’s a hypothesis of animal behavior that we are bond to furs and warmth for we are evolved from creatures with furs. We seek for furry imagery because it reminds us the feelings of protection.
But furfan do not only focus on what literally actually have furs but other animals, anthropomorphic animals, and even some special types as dragons or chimera.

To surf on the Net, you’ll find furfan groups are of artists, writers, and fantasy and science-fiction fans.
Many furfan make their interesting works related to animals, anthropomorphic animals or to the extreme “human in animal suits”.
Painting is the major activities what almost every furfan may do.
Through the computer, lots of websites about furfan are artwork discussing. But there is a trick in it. If you google it up, you may bump into many mature contents. It’s a weird phenomenon. However, I’m not ready to discuss this now.
